Janet has 20 + years teaching, managerial and clinical experience in Ophthalmology; was faculty for CMEOA, (school for training ophthalmic assistants), has taught numerous workshops at JCAHPO meetings & via Webinar; and, is an Approved Speaker with the American Board of Opticianry, National Contact Lens Examiners, and Joint Commission Allied Health Professional in Ophthalmology.

The mission of Eye Source is to provide premier, comprehensive and effective instruction, both in the classroom and the clinical environment.

Janet’s effectiveness is the result of having a gifted aptitude for teaching; and, an ability to go beyond teaching the fundamental “how to” operate the diagnostic technology, but also teach an understanding of “why” the test is necessary and hence to better communicate that information to the patient.

Knowing the “why” promotes technician confidence.  This confidence brings “joy” to the work experience.  And joy creates a powerful, positive & productive atmosphere.
